Project overview
OPL-310 represented an exciting frontier exploration opportunity in the deepwater Niger Delta. Energy Consulting Practice provided full well management services — from pre-drill geological prognosis and mud programme design to real-time drilling support and post-well evaluation. The third well in the campaign penetrated a 140m net pay interval in a previously undrilled trap configuration, leading to the Iroko-1 gas condensate discovery. Reserves have since been certified at 480 BCF gross by an independent evaluator.
